The Sioux Center School Board is providing an opportunity for the general public to provide feedback on the Board Policy 504.10 Wellness. A local school wellness policy is a written document that guides a local educational agency (LEA) or school district’s efforts to establish a school environment that promotes students’ health, well-being, and ability to learn. The group will review and update your wellness policy and ensure it meets all requirements as written in SEC. 204 of Public Law 111-296 Local School Wellness Policy Implementation.
The meeting will be held on March 14, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the district board room at 550 9th St. NE. Please contact Tracy Westcott at email@example.com if this is something that would interest you.

If you live in the “non-transportation” zone, and would like your child to be able to ride the bus TO SCHOOL in the morning during December, January, and February, please fill out the Winter Route Request form below and return it to the office by November 18, 16.
Winter routes will begin 12/1/16 and end 2/28/17, and are subject to approval based on location and availability. (Questions regarding this service may be directed to the Transportation Director, at 722-2481.)
